Leakage of hydraulic cylinder will cause slow lifting, insufficient power, and pollute the environment. Common reasons are as follows:
1. The wear ring on the piston is severely worn, causing friction between the piston and the cylinder sleeve, which in turn causes damage
2. The seal ring is aged, and long-term use causes the seal ring to fail or harden
3. Hydraulic oil is contaminated, impurities enter the cylinder and wear the piston and seal ring
4. The depth of the fixing screw hole is not appropriate, such as the hole depth or thread length is not appropriate, which affects the sealing of the threaded connection
Solution: Replace the appropriate seal ring; check and repair or replace the piston rod; replace the aged seal ring; clean the cylinder and replace the seal ring; check and repair or replace the oil pipe joint; check and repair the cylinder body and cylinder end cover; replace the piston rod; replace the deteriorated lubricating oil and the aged seal ring; avoid using it beyond the pressure range of the cylinder.
In addition, it is also necessary to check the process hole position, flange end cover screw, piston rod seal ring specifications, etc. of the hydraulic cylinder to ensure that they are well sealed and without wear or damage. Preventive measures include regularly inspecting seals and sealing surfaces, using high-quality hydraulic oil, and ensuring proper operation and maintenance of the hydraulic system.
